Wastewater Operator Certification Shortcourse Exam Prep and CEUs (June 01, 2026)

This upcoming course will feature the full-week wastewater shortcourse, individual CEU wastewater sessions and exams. View the information below to learn more.

Wastewater Shortcourse / CEUs

The agenda will be released soon for the full wastewater shortcourse and individual wastewater CEU offerings. Up to 32 MDEQ sponsored hours will be awarded (8 hours per day).

Wastewater classes will take place from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. from June 1-5, 2026.

Attendance for the wastewater shortcourse is $400 for members and $550 for non-members. Exams are an additional $50 each. Participants must bring their own materials. A link has been placed below for each of the study materials. Non-Member fee includes a 3 year membership to MWPCOA.

We strongly encourage all participants to print and study the provided materials and bring them with you to the shortcourse.

Exams Offered

Wastewater Class I, II, III, and IV and Collection Systems I and Collection Systems II exams will be given on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 8 a.m. - Noon.

Note: If you intend to take a Class IV exam, you must have proof that you have passed a Class Il exam. If you intend to take the test only, the fee will be $50 and you are required to have completed at least one wastewater shortcourse.

* Please bring a calculator and you must have a valid ID to take an exam.

Register Online:
Click on the Register button at the left of your screen under General Registration. You will then go through the registration process where you will select which courses / exams you wish to take.
